Together we can.
Providing food to those in need in our community.
Providing food to those in need in our community.
Our mission is to provide emergency food to families who are in need and reside within the Charlevoix
Public School District.
The Community Food Pantry is a non-profit, all volunteer organization. The pantry was formed in 1983 as a branch off of a rummage sale held at the First Congregational Church in Charlevoix. The number of people reached over the years has grown steadily, we currently assist Senior Citizens, individuals, and entire families. In 2012 the pantry was able to move into its current location, purchase additional refrigeration units, and increase the amount and type of food distributed. We are now able to offer bread, dairy products, frozen meat and chicken, and fresh fruit and vegetables in addition to non-perishables.
Please note that your donation to the Community Food Pantry is tax deductible. We are a tax-exempt organization as recognized by the IRS under Sec. 501 (c) (3).
The Community Food Pantry offers free food to anyone who lives within the Charlevoix School District.
